Welcome to the 78704 Artisan Market

South Austin’s neighborhood website, www.weare78704.com, will be hosting an ongoing Artisan Market at 1603 S. Congress Avenue (on the lot across the street from the South Congress Cafe, where the food trailers are) featuring hand-crafted artisan work every Saturday and First Thursday (weather permitting).

We have space available for 25 10×10 spaces and 15 5×5 spaces. The market is open on Saturdays from 11:00am-10:00pm (set up beginning at 10:00am; break down at 10:00pm and vacate by 11:00pm) and First Thursdays from 4:00pm-10:00pm (set up beginning at 3:00am; break down at 10:00pm and vacate by 11:00pm).

Saturdays:

• Our 10×10 spaces lease for $20 a day
• 5×5 spaces (enough for a table) lease for $10 a day

First Thursdays:

• Our 10×10 spaces lease for $30 a day
• 5×5 spaces lease for $20 a day

We do not require long term contracts or membership fees. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis. Our market location is in a pedestrian friendly area that gets a lot of foot-traffic on the weekends. Our goal is to build a colorful and diverse market featuring some of Austin’s well known artisans.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL FEES WILL BE RETURNED IF THE ARTISAN MARKET IS CANCELED BY US DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. FEES WILL NOT BE RETURNED IF YOU FAIL TO SHOW UP.
